Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer

The Event is organized by Plesni klub Swank association, a registered association located at Liminjanska cesta 117, 6320 Portorož–Portorose, Slovenia.

2. Event Description

The Organizer hosts a five (5) day dance camp taking place in a salt warehouse "Grando" venue in Portorož, Slovenia (the "Event").

• Participation in the Event requires the purchase of a valid ticket.
• Tickets purchased via the website grant access to all five days of the Event.
• Daily tickets or single-class tickets may be available for purchase on-site during the Event.

3. Ticket Types and Pricing

Ticket prices depend on the time of purchase:

• Early Bird Ticket: 399 EUR
• Regular Ticket: 455 EUR
• Late Ticket (after 1 July): 500 EUR

All prices are stated in euros (EUR). VAT is not applicable, as the Organizer is not VAT registered.

4. Ticket Purchase and Payment

Tickets may be purchased via the Organizer's website using:

• Stripe (online payment), or
• Direct bank transfer

Important: Tickets are digital only and issued in the participant's name. No user account is required to complete a purchase. The confirmation email serves as proof of purchase.

5. Installment Payments (Bank Transfer Only)

Installment payment is available only for the Regular Ticket and only via bank transfer. Two payment options are available:

Option A: Three Equal Installments

• Total payable: 455 EUR
• Paid in three (3) equal installments of 151.67 EUR each

Payment Schedule

• First installment: Payment due within 3 days of registration completion. The participant will receive an email confirmation with bank account details, unique payment reference, and exact deadline date.
• Second installment: Payment due 1 month after the first payment is received.
• Third installment: Payment due 2 months after the first payment is received.

Option B: Deposit + Final Payment

• Total payable: 455 EUR
• First payment (deposit): 100 EUR due within 3 days of registration completion. This reserves your spot at the Event.
• Second payment (balance): 355 EUR due by 1 June.

Payment Verification

Bank transfers are verified manually. Allow 2-3 business days for payment confirmation after transfer is sent. A final email confirmation will be sent only after all payments have been received and verified.

Failure to Pay

Failure to pay any installment on time gives the Organizer the right to:

• Cancel the ticket without further notice, and
• Retain any amounts already paid as an administrative and cancellation fee. No refund will be issued for canceled installment plans, regardless of how many payments have been made.

Access to the Event: Access to the Event may be denied if full payment has not been received and verified before the Event starts. Participants with outstanding installment payments will not be permitted to attend.

6. Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for ticket purchases, except in the case of full Event cancellation by the Organizer.

In the case of full Event cancellation, ticket holders are entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid. No additional compensation (travel, accommodation, lost income) will be provided.

7. Accommodation

Optional hostel accommodation may be purchased as an add-on for 168 EUR (4 nights).

Accommodation can only be purchased in combination with a valid Event ticket.

No refunds will be issued for accommodation purchases under any circumstances, including if the ticket is transferred or canceled.

8. EU Consumer Withdrawal Right

In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure activities taking place on a specific date or during a specific period.

By purchasing a ticket, the participant acknowledges that no general 14-day withdrawal right applies to this Event.

9. Ticket Transfer Policy

Tickets may be transferred to another person by name change. To transfer a ticket, submit a written request to info@madcoast.si with your registration email and the name of the new ticket holder.

10. Changes to Program and Lineup

The Organizer reserves the right to:

• Modify the Event schedule
• Change teachers, artists, or program content
• Adjust class times, locations, or structure

Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

11. Event Cancellation and Force Majeure

The Organizer may cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Fire or venue unavailability
• Government restrictions
• Serious illness or safety risks

In the event of full cancellation, ticket holders are entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid. No additional compensation (travel, accommodation, lost income) will be provided.

12. Health, Safety, and Liability

Participation in the Event involves physical activity and is undertaken at the participant's own risk.

By attending the Event, participants confirm that:

• They are physically fit to participate
• They are responsible for their own health and accident insurance
• They follow all instructions given by staff and teachers

The Organizer is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Personal Belongings

The Organizer is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings at the Event venue.

14. Age Requirement

The Event is intended for participants 18 years of age or older. Minors may participate only with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

15. Photography and Video Recording

Photos and videos will be taken during the Event for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes.

By participating, attendees grant the Organizer the right to use their image and likeness across all media, without compensation.

Opt-out option: Participants may request exclusion from photography by submitting a written request to info@madcoast.si at least 14 days before the Event. The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests; however, incidental appearance in background shots may not be avoidable.

16. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward others and the venue.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant, without refund, for:

• Harassment or abusive behavior
• Violence or threats
• Drug or alcohol abuse
• Ignoring safety instructions
• Disruptive or dangerous conduct

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Slovenian courts.

18. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated terms take effect immediately upon publication on the website and apply to all participants, regardless of when they registered or completed payment.
